What were the primary issues that you were facing before starting with the Diet and Nutrition therapy?

I had a lot of health problems like obesity (92 kg weight), bronchitis, generalized body ache, morning headache, hypothyroidism and many more which I was not even aware of.. Even if I tried to walk 19 steps, I used to get tired. Running 100 meters was an unachievable task for me. 

How did you get to know about us?

My wife used to go for yoga classes at Mind & Body Wellness. She was also overwhelmed with taking care of my health problems. So, she suggested that I should meet Mrs. Jasbir Kaur ma’am and take up some consultation with her. That is when I met her and came to know about Diet and Nutrition Therapy at Hexa Health Dimensions.

How did Diet  & Nutrition therapy help you?

To be honest, when I decided to meet Mrs. Jasbir Kaur ma’am, I was not even 5% confident that it could help me. I have always been inclined towards allopathic treatment. But in the 1st meeting itself I was filled with immense confidence that I can achieve my health goals. That was my 1st achievement itself. With all the faith in her, I honestly followed all her instructions (Healthy eating habits and Yoga) and within a span of 8 months I achieved my target weight of 62 kgs. I was not able to believe that I achieved my health goal in such a short duration of time without getting starved. I have stopped all the allopathic medications other than the medication for hypothyroidism, the dose for which has been lowered. My colleagues were not able to recognize me after 8 months. I had turned myself from potato to yummy chips.

What kind of challenges did you face in the entire course? How did you overcome them?

I am a foodie with a sweet tooth and to add to it, my wife is a great chef. So, you may understand what could have been my challenges. Besides, one of my biggest challenges was my travel schedule for work. I used to spend almost 5 hours daily commuting, leaving me with no time to work out or do any other activity other than following the diet plan.

With the help of Mrs. Jasbir Kaur ma’am, I learned to keep my will power strong and as the days passed, I started reducing my weight and got energetic too. I was able to wake up early and devote a few hours to practicing Yoga, as instructed by her.

Have you achieved your target weight?

Yes, when I started the sessions, my weight was 92 kgs and my target weight as per my height was 62 kgs – which I have achieved.

What is your next goal?

My next goal is to keep this weight constant and stay away from any medication for the rest of my life.

Is there any activity that you could not do earlier but now you can?

Earlier I could not sit with my legs folded or run for 100 meters or play outdoor games with my kids for even 5 minutes, but now I can do all of this and even a lot more like climbing trees with a lot of ease. Where there is a will there’s a way and to walk on the way you need the right guidance and consultation and I don’t think there is anybody better than Mrs. Jasbir Kaur ma’am.
